Lady Jae is offering 25 inmates an opportunity to tell their life story in a variety of different formats such as biography, 1st person, 3rd person, poetry, rap/songs.

Work should be submitted weekly or monthly. All submitted work will be critiqued, edited and formatted for the publishing company. Once published, if anyone purchases the completed work ALL FUNDS will be sent to the inmate. A final copy will be submitted to the inmate for the final approval. Once approved it will be published within 24-48 hours. Story can be done anonymously or the inmates name can be used.

Reminder: No real names can be used in the book when referring or referencing other people unless written consent is given. Forms can be provided if you would like to get permission to use other individual real names.

Notebooks, pens, pencils, handheld recorders (for individuals who can’t write well) and cassettes for recording (if allowed by the institution) will be provided, once agreement has been signed and put on file.
